Strategic Tax Planning

Preserving wealth requires more than investment performance. We integrate advanced wealth management and tax strategy to help clients make more tax-aware decisions across their investments, retirement, estate and broader financial lives.

Building Value with Your Taxes in Mind

Building wealth is only part of the equation. Preserving it requires understanding how taxes intersect with your investments, retirement income, estate, charitable giving and other important financial decisions.

At Envest Asset Management, tax strategy is not treated as a once-a-year exercise or an isolated service. It is integrated into the broader wealth management process, helping clients make informed decisions with both their immediate tax implications and long-term financial goals in mind.

Most people only think about taxes in April, when it is too late to do much about them. We think about them year-round, because that kind of proactive approach is when the real savings happen.

It’s Not Just a Return. It’s a Strategy.

A tax return reports what already happened. Tax planning changes what happens next. Our work centers on the decisions made before December 31st — the ones that determine what your return will say, not just how accurately it says it.

We work with small business owners, founders, and individuals. We’re registered in CT, NY, CA, PA, and VT, and serve clients nationwide.

What's the difference between tax preparation and tax planning?

Tax preparation reports what already happened last year. Tax planning is the work we do now that changes what next year’s return will look like before the window to act has closed.

Do you file my tax return?

Our role is strategy, not preparation. We work directly alongside your CPA or tax preparer to make sure the strategies we build together are properly reflected on your filed return, so nothing gets lost in translation.

I already have a financial advisor. Can I still work with you?

No. We want to ensure that our financial planning strategies and tax planning strategies are aligned. Good tax strategy should complement your financial plan and not compete with it.
